Our History
1999
Established in 1999, ActiveCo “Computer Solutions” was a small, one-man company that helped small businesses fix their day-to-day computer problems that we all know and love. A simple solution to very common problems.
2005
By 2005, and a few more people rounding out the team, ActiveCo had taken on several small businesses as customers and was now being asked how to support and advise on business-critical components. New technologies were allowing smaller companies to reach all-new markets, while the bad guys were increasing their threats to the business networks and emails.
2010
The late 2010 saw ActiveCo taking on a leadership role in consulting. With a monthly, predictable fee, customers were now given access to our IT consultants and experts, to understand their technology needs, costs, and investments. With this unique strength of IT consulting with business owners, ActiveCo has been able to leverage technology specific to their business needs, reeling in success after success.
2015
In 2015, our team decided to not share desks and offices anymore. So we moved to our new home. Now the welcome mat is outside a different door, in Sherling PI, Port Coquitlam.
2019
We were limited by industry software. So we built our own custom software Boost vCIO in 2019 to set a new standard for IT Consulting, IT Planning, and Budgeting systems within the industry.
2020
In 2020, in line with ActiveCo’s partnership strategy to better serve businesses and business owners, ActiveCo partnered with New Charter Technologies, effectively becoming part of a big network of the best Managed Services companies in the industry. With this partnership, we can combine resources, capabilities and investment capital which gives us to opportunity to offer a far more comprehensive set of services, products, and security offerings to businesses and business owners.
2025
After many years of helping clients (and ourselves) with ad hoc programming, we launched our focused Managed Application Services division. That same year, we introduced the ActiveCo AI Toolbox, delivering intelligent agents, automation solutions, and custom AI services to help businesses work smarter and faster.
