PHOENIX DRIVER MOBILE APPLICATION — DATA COLLECTION DISCLOSURE
This section describes the data collected by the Phoenix Driver
mobile application, which is distributed to drivers employed by
Phoenix Truck & Crane.
DATA COLLECTED
When a driver signs into the Phoenix Driver app, we collect the
following:
• Account information: name, email address, phone number,
postal address, employer-issued driver identifier
• Vehicle and insurance documents uploaded by the driver
• Proof-of-delivery photos, electronic signatures, and notes
captured at pickup and drop-off stops
• Precise location (latitude / longitude) including in the
background, used to automatically log arrival and departure
events at pickup and drop-off stops and to provide live
estimated time of arrival (ETA) to dispatch
• Device identifier used to deliver push notifications to the
driver’s device
HOW LOCATION DATA IS USED
Background location data is collected only while the driver is
signed into the Phoenix Driver app. Tracking automatically stops
when the driver signs out or when the app is force-closed.
Tracking does not resume after a device reboot — the driver must
open the app to resume tracking.
Location data is used to:
1. Automatically log arrival and departure events at scheduled
pickup and drop-off stops via geofence triggers.
2. Provide live estimated time of arrival (ETA) to dispatch
while the driver is en route.
Location data is not used for advertising, marketing, or any
purpose unrelated to delivery operations.
DATA SHARING
We do not share Phoenix Driver location, photo, signature, or
account data with any third parties for advertising or marketing
purposes. Data is processed solely on the driver’s behalf for
Phoenix Truck & Crane dispatch operations.
DATA RETENTION
We retain driver account data and proof-of-delivery records for
the duration of the driver’s employment with Phoenix Truck &
Crane and for the period required by applicable trade and tax
regulations afterwards. Location and arrival/departure event
records are retained for the period required to support
operational records and audits.
DATA DELETION
Drivers may request deletion of their account and associated
data by tapping “Delete My Account” inside the Phoenix Driver
app (under Services), or by contacting Phoenix Truck & Crane
